The culture created and carried by the Ripich family—now in their fourth generation of family ownership—has made success and expansion of AT&F possible. Listen to President and CEO Michael Ripich talk about AT&F and the legacy it continues to build.
AT&F’s rich heritage started in 1940. The company was a steel service provider, then known as American Tank and Fabrication. 76 years later, AT&F has grown in capacity and capability. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, AT&F has expanded throughout the U.S. and internationally. Facilities include several locations in the Northeast Ohio area, as well as Wisconsin, South Carolina, Denmark and India.
Four years ago, The American Tank & Fabricating Company officially rebranded to AT&;F. This strategic update was implemented during heavy expansion both domestically and internationally. AT&F was exploring options in Wisconsin while operations in India were gaining momentum. With these opportunities for growth, AT&F saw the need to provide a new global image. Refining the enterprise image also serves a functional role for our customers. By consolidating divisions under a single brand, customers across the globe can leverage the enterprise knowledge and experience while taking advantage of AT&F’s regional presence.
In its early days, the company specialized in rolled cylinders. AT&F remains a leader in rolling with the capability to roll steel plates at thicknesses competitors can’t handle. AT&F expanded its capabilities into cutting, forming, welding, and machining. It has become a full service custom fabricator, capable of designing, processing, fabricating and inspecting its products at the highest quality level.
As an industry leader with world-class equipment, AT&F handles large scale projects with expertise and professionalism. The size of our equipment and our commitment to quality makes AT&F a favored fabricator for heavy industries like infrastructure, defense, and energy. From bridge pieces and crane booms to chemical processing vessels and railcar beds, AT&F provides these large-scale components for the most demanding industries. The philosophy behind AT&F’s business has held true since 1940: “We Invest In Customer Success.” This investment can be seen in both our equipment and our team members.
AT&F is constantly seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team.
